My Life In Summer
(A Short Description)
No particular day in summer came to my attention with a certain feeling I cannot explain lest when the trees were emerald, the sky and air around me a deeper shade of blue, and in contrast to such bright colours the brick red houses turned maroon like the rich blood that was once painted on these walls now dried in the heat and the roads; such a dull shade of grey unaffected by the sun’s light that was too bright: O’cheery me…
Briefly, in this season, the sun has enough power to be of any influence on my thick skin which otherwise would feel the continuous bitterness of cold. This rare sensation was accompanied by an inconsistent number of people flurrying in enjoyment – were they blind? was this day to them the same as any other? were diamonds just rocks? I have a feeling that there were (not literally of course) to them.
One particular tree was a great interest to all but me; such was the branches creeping over our fence and the leaves that fell at a particularly strong breeze on to our garden: such was the pear tree…
We had been given specific permission: as he rarely did so, to consume any fruit brought to it by spring. My enjoyment, however, came only from striking them down; allowing my brother to further fill his internal content by letting him it all.
Soon, for such an inconsiderate reason as a lack of mouths to feed a large mound of rotten pairs were pressed into the earth in a thick bog formed by worms and weather. Such a stench was this, as to make weak the strongest stomach. I did not wish to see such precious gifts of nature simply go to waste, I felt the intense desire to retrieve my shovel and remove the stains and place them among the plants formed by my parents’ garden.
Cultivating was a serious hobby to my parents. I say this with, indeed, a face as straight as my ruler, that: our balls were to be kept at a safe distance from them lest they should be removed; and that would not have been a preferred option at this point in life; of course this may seem weird if misunderstood: apologies but I am not a tremendous joker out of the top of my head, yet, now I think: both cases are equally true.
