Into the Water by Paula Hawkins -- Book Review (15/09/2019)

I read Into the Water by Paula Hawkins right into the night because I so wanted to find out how all the subplots would unravel and converge. And they did, but what gives you the chills is that, although you know everything that has happened, the characters don't.

The book makes you feel attached to every single person in the story. So when it ended, I felt a great sense of loss that I could know no more about them...

Spoilers:
Nel's sister narrates as if speaking to Nel. Which gives the book an eery feel. Mark Henderson (Teacher) and Nickie Sage (Psysic) are odd characters, but do not, to me, appear capable of murder. Though one can never be sure when it comes to teachers, expecially after Mark dropped some hints about having something to do with Lena Abbott (Nel's daughter).

With so much Mystery sorrounding the place, can we ever really know what happened that night in the Drowning Pool?

Rating (Out of Five): 4
