This isn't cannon — at least that's what they say on Reddit.
My little brother and I watched this together, like Steins;Gate. He liked the film because he doesn't really pay attention to the details. I didn't notice much of the inconstancies either to be fair, I just didn't like it because there wasn't enough new content in it.
But, if you like the series and want to see more Okabe x Kurisu, you should definitely check this out.
