I have written about a short story called Eugene and it is part of a series called The Richardsons. This book is based mostly around right and wrong of killing and dying. But the books, in general, are meant to focus on the power of children and what we can do if we're not held back by the failures of the past generations and created our own civilisation. The book is written in the first person. Narrated by a girl called Susie Fisher and revolves around the pasts of three main characters: Ferguson: a jolly and loyal young boy; Chloe who, though just as loyal, reveals to be a much more complicated character; she is too deep in guilt to care about her health, safety or freedom; Eugene, however, is Susie's main focus as, although he is the only one of the three that she can easily talk to, as he knows sigh language and she is mute, yet he remains a mystery till the very end.
