Curled up by
the wall, I was in a blur of vomit and darkness. Gargling on the taste of Iron.
My insides convulsed trying to piece everything together. Again. And again. And
Again. All the while the acid was oozing out, consuming me. Again. I bit my lip
hard. Please, don’t let him wake up. Please, I called silently, clenching
myself tight, just let me give up.
My eyes fell to the window. Those millions of sparkles in my tears, they
were waiting. With my hands outstretched, I wanted to call to them: take me;
let me stay with you where it's safe forever…
