Death Parade is not the type of anime that I normally watch, but it was fascinating nonetheless.
In Death Parade, after humans die they don't go to heaven or hell (yes, they have Death Note references). Instead, they are tested in pairs to decide who will be sent to the void and who will be given a chance to be reborn.
The part I liked the most was that during the tests you were given glimpses into the player's pasts and their personalities and had to try to work out what they did when they were alive.
Definitely worth giving a go!
